Infertility assessment and care planning
A thoughtful fertility consultation brings your history, previous results and priorities into one individualized plan. Together with your clinician, you can clarify which investigations are useful and what to consider next. A consultation does not automatically lead to IVF.
Preparing for a focused fertility assessment
Bring cycle dates, time trying to conceive, pregnancy history, previous reports and a list of medicines and supplements. Where relevant, both partners should be assessed together. Tests are tailored to the history and may assess ovulation, the uterus and tubal patency, alongside semen analysis.
Clinic assessment and fertility-center treatment
The clinic works with a fertility center for coordination of IVF or ICSI when appropriate. These laboratory procedures are distinct from office consultation; confirm the treating center, eligibility, required documents and separate costs before making commitments.
Questions for the clinician
- What do the findings explain, and what remains uncertain?
- Which options, alternatives and risks fit my circumstances?
- Which tests or visits depend on cycle timing?
- How will we review results and agree the next step?
A pregnancy or treatment result cannot be promised. ASRM: Fertility evaluation.
Location, language and appointment
Consultations are coordinated in Shahriar, Andisheh or Tehran (Vanak). Confirm the exact location before travelling. Arabic and English replies are available through the official WhatsApp and email channels; an on-site interpreter and other services must be confirmed separately.
Official appointment and contact information
Use the WhatsApp route shown on that page for initial coordination. Ask for the clinic’s approved private document channel before sharing medical records. Fees, treatment duration and outcomes are individualized and are not guaranteed.
Dr. Fatemeh Aghajanzadeh cooperates with Mam Fertility Center. The precise referral pathway, treatment plan and fees must be confirmed individually.
When to seek an assessment
An assessment is generally recommended after 12 months of trying if the woman is under 35, or after 6 months from age 35. Above 40, earlier review may be appropriate. Seek advice sooner for irregular or absent periods, suspected endometriosis or tubal disease, or known male fertility concerns. These are general thresholds; your history guides timing.
Clarify the clinic-to-center pathway
Ask which consultations take place at the clinic and which steps, if needed, belong at Mam Fertility Center or another confirmed treating facility. Request separate information about laboratory procedures, appointments and costs; the office consultation is not an IVF package.
